Dear brothers and sisters,
How to serve your leader well?
Be the hands and feet of your leader. Don’t be your leader’s head.
What does that mean?
It means:
You can be a smart person with many good ideas. However, if you think your ideas is better than your leader’s ideas, and you don’t want to follow your leader’s decisions, or you follow your leader unpleasantly, you should quit your job.
You need to know who you are.
You are follower and your leader is leader. You are the hands and feet of your leader. Your leader is your head. The head leads the hands and the feet. So if you want your leader to follow you, you should quit your job.
If you have a question for your leader, then ask your leader. If you have an idea you would like to share with your leader, then share. But don’t argue. Share your thinking and let your leader make the decision. Decision making is your leader’s job, not yours.
Further, if you serve your leader badly, how can you serve your followers well?
So, before all else, be a good follower.
Be the hands and feet of your leader. Serve your leader well.
Have a serving day.
