The prayer series

Jesus,

I have to learn English well,
not because of me,
but because of your country.

Anh Hoành said,
“The most important thing for our Viet Nam’s development is our ethics,
and the second most important thing is our English.”
(You, Your English, and the Country – TĐH.)
So my ethics needs to be good,
and my English does too.

I need to be good at English in
both the Bible
and the current pressing issues of VN and the world.
It is a difficult thing.
However, because you are my help,
I can do it.

“You is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
You will not grow tired or weary,
and your understanding no one can fathom.
You gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:28-31)
