Dear brothers and sisters,
Live like The Teacher lived.
Jesus said: “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.” (Matthew 5:38-40.)
Jesus lived like that, live like Jesus lived.
Meaning, I live with The Teacher’s teaching for myself. If anyone slaps me on the right cheek, I turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue me and take my shirt, I hand over my coat as well.
I do not ask others to live like that. I only use The teacher’s teaching for myself, for editing and developing my way of life.
I live like The teacher lived. And I do correctly The Teacher’s teaching. No: This is very difficult. This is not realistic. If anyone slaps me on the right cheek, if I don’t slap them, that’s okay, why do I have to turn to them the other cheek also? This is only God or Buddha can do it, normal persons can’t do it…
I don’t live like that. I live exactly the way The Teacher lived – if anyone slaps me on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.
Before living like that, I think it’s very hard. However, after living like that, it’s easy. Thanks for God’s helping, I can do it, and doing easily.
And I realize that, it’s the true way of life – “If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.”
Jesus was a normal person. He could do it. So we all can do it.
Live correctly like The Teacher lived
Have a nice day.
