What should the government do to improve the transportation in Ho Chi Minh city?

Dear brothers and sisters,

What do you think the government should do to improve the transportation (roads and traffic and traffic jams) in Ho Chi Minh city?

I think the government should do 3 things. Firstly, increasing public transport. Secondly, relocating businesses to the outer rim of the city. Thirdly, developing railways and sea transport.

Let me talk more in details.

The firstly thing is to increase public transport, such as buses and metro. We should have many more bus routes; many different kinds of buses – big buses running on big streets, small buses on small streets; and many more metro routes.

The secondly thing is to move businesses and industry centers to the outer rim of the city. The city will have fewer people and thus, traffic will be better. Moreover, workers in the local areas won’t have to go too far to get to the city for working. They will have a better life and thus, they will work better. IT companies are companies that can move easily, but many other companies and businesses may move conveniently too if the government supports the development of industrial parks and business centers on the outer rim of the city.

The thirdly thing is to develop railways and sea transport, especially along the eastern seaboard, so that highways and roads can lighten their burdens. Moreover, when we develop sea transport, many ships will travel in the East Sea, and our sea will be lighted by these ships, making it easier for us to mark the sovereignty over our sea. It’s a good way to protect our East Sea and the whole country.

These are 3 things that I think the government should do to improve the transportation in Ho Chi Minh city.

Have a nice day.
