You prayed continually.
You prayed continually to God.
You “often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”(1)
After you had fed the crowd and dismissed them,
you went up on a mountainside by yourself to pray.
Later that night, you were there alone.(2)
You spent the night praying to God
before choosing your twelve disciples.(3)
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,
you got up, left the house
and went off to a solitary place, where you prayed.(4)
You prayed continually to God,
before, while and after doing something.
You prayed before raising Lazarus from the dead,(5)
while healing a deaf and mute man,(6)
after healing a man with leprosy.(7)
Your life is the praying life.
I’m trying to be like you.
I’m praying continually as you did.
Love you, Jesus.
