Dear brothers and sisters,

Many people learn their life lessons with a lot of pain. They have to pay too much for their lessons. Although they pay too much, they may not be mature spiritually.

However, a few people learn their life lessons with a little pain. They only pay too little for their lessons. Although they pay too little, they are mature spiritually.

Where is the difference?

Love.

A person loving people will learn their life lessons with a little pain. And a person not loving people will learn their life lessons with a lot of pain.

Why?

Because love makes the heart pain but not suffering. Though the heart has a lot of pain, the heart is not suffering. When the heart is not suffering, the heart does not see any pain at all.

And because love gives us wisdom. Wisdom helps us learn 1 but know 10, or 100, or 1.000… Thanks to wisdom, we will learn our life lessons with a little pain.

So a person loving people will learn their life lessons with a little pain, and pain but not suffering.

And this is how to love people.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Loving people, we will learn with a little pain.

The more we love people, the more we are mature spiritually. And maturity without pain.
