Prayer 616

The prayer series

We never have much money
but we always enjoy life.

Remember when we only had 20.000 đồng in one day?
We drank an 8.000 đồng coffee cup.
Then when a lottery ticket seller came,
we bought for her a 10.000 đồng ticket.
So we still had 2.000 đồng left.

Though we only had 2.000 đồng
and we didn’t know if we would have money tomorrow or not,
we didn’t worry.

You said to me,
“Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink;
or about your body, what you will wear.
Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air;
they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

And why do you worry about clothes?
See how the flowers of the field grow.
They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field,
which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire,
will he not much more clothe you — you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying,
‘What shall we eat?’
or ‘What shall we drink?’
or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the pagans run after all these things,
and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.”(*)

So I don’t worry.
I enjoy my life with you.

I enjoy the gifts you give me.
Flowers, wind, clouds,
birds, butterflies, sun light…
I enjoy amazing things around me.
And I enjoy them with you.

I enjoy the job you give me.
I do my best.
And I do with you.

I live, learn, work, play and do exercise with you.
I enjoy my life with you.
I don’t worry about
what I shall I eat
or what I shall drink
or what shall I wear,
because you take care of me very well.
You feed me fully.
I’m never hungry or thirsty.
You clothe me so nice.
Most people often praise me as a stylist.

Life is wonderful.

Having you,
life is an amazing grace.

I love you, Jesus.
