Everybody needs somebody to love là bài hát do Bert Berns, Solomon Burke và Jerry Wexler viết. Ban đầu Solomon Burke thu âm bài này, Bert Berns sản xuất, tại Atlantic Records năm 1964 và phiên bản này được xếp hạng thứ 58.

Sau đó Wilson Pickett cover lại vào năm 1966 và phiên bản của anh (có nhắc Solomon Burke trong phần mở đầu) đã xếp hạng thứ 29 trong nhạc pop, và hạng 19 trong nhạc R&B vào đầu năm 1967. Nhóm The Rolling Stones và The Blues Brothers cũng cover thành những phiên bản đáng chú ý.

Bài hát (phiên bản của Solomon Burke) được xếp hạng thứ 436 trong danh sách 500 bài hát hay nhất mọi thời đại của tạp chí Rolling Stone.

Hai người mới gần nhau – như là người yêu, vợ chồng, bạn đồng phòng, người cùng nhóm làm việc – thường khám phá ra từ từ là có nhiều điều hai người không hợp nhau. Và đây là bắt đầu khó khăn cho liên hệ tình cảm. Chàng hay vất đồ bừa bãi, nàng rất ngăn nắp trong nhà. Chàng thích xem thể thao trên TV, nàng chỉ muốn xem ca nhạc. Chàng hút thuốc, nàng chịu không được mùi thuốc…

Không hợp nhau như thế là câu chuyện muôn thuở của loài người, và người ta cãi nhau, ghét nhau, bỏ nhau, ly dị nhau thường cũng là vì nhiều khác nhau như thế.

HANOI: Outrage spread to Vietnam on Wednesday over United Airlines’ handling of a passenger dragged from his seat after it emerged that the 69-year-old U.S. doctor was Vietnamese by birth.

Although United Airlines has no direct flights to Vietnam, there were widespread calls on social media for a boycott after video showed a bloodied David Dao being yanked out of the plane by airport security on Sunday to make way for United employees.

The ire in Vietnam grew quickly after it was reported that Dao’s origins were not in the Southeast Asian country’s old enemy, China, as many had at first assumed.

HÀ NỘI — The country’s wild bear population has declined sharply over the past 20 years, according to recent surveys carried out in 22 protected areas.

The surveys were part of a three-year collaborative project by the Centre for Environment and Rural Development at Vinh University with the support of the conservation and animal welfare organisation Free the Bears and Animals Asia.

BOT investors are now in a dilemma as toll collection is not big enough to pay bank debts.

Tran Ngoc Le from Yen Khanh Production, Trade & Service Company, one of the major investors in the Hac Tri Bridge in Phu Tho province, said the monthly turnover from the project is VND5 billion, while the company has to pay VND10 billion in bank loan interest.

The investor initially expected to take back the investment capital after 17 years, but it has realized that the time may be 50 years.

TTCT – Chưa thấy có môn học nào được quan tâm như môn tiếng Anh. Phụ huynh nào cũng sẵn lòng cho con đi học thêm, rèn tiếng Anh ngay từ tiểu học.

Nhà nước có hẳn một đề án ngoại ngữ quốc gia 2020 rất đồ sộ. Các trung tâm dạy tiếng Anh mọc lên khắp thành phố. Nhưng rất hiếm thấy những công trình nghiên cứu về thế nào là một phương pháp tối ưu dạy và học tiếng Anh trong môi trường Việt Nam được phổ biến rộng rãi, kể cả đề án nói trên.
