Dear brothers and sisters,
Jesus was always the person giving people love (by preaching, healing, praying…). However, this was a rare moment – Jesus was taking a love:
Mary Magdalene took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. (John 12:1-11).
Jesus took Mary Magdalene’s love. What does that mean?
Jesus showed us what love is.
Love here is to receive a love. Loving is not only giving but also taking. Taking is ’cause of the love of the giver, not ’cause of the need of the taker. Receiving a love is also a form of loving.
To many people, loving means giving love and not enjoying receiving love.
Let’s love people by receiving their love. Receive and enjoy love.
Have a love day.
