“I am the vine; you are the branches.
If you remain in me and I in you,
you will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing.”*
Perhaps the grapevine was important in Israel then,
so, when you said about the vine,
your followers understood easily.
With our country, the important tree is the rice.
Can I use “the rice” instead of “the vine“?
Oh, I feel it’s easier.
You are the rice plant , we are the rice branches.
If we remain in You and You in us,
we will bear much fruit;
apart from You we can do nothing.
You are the plant,
we are the branches.
When we remain in You,
we bear much rice for people.
Oh, I want to be in You,
not because I want to bear much fruit,
but because I love You, Jesus.
