Jesus,

When you were in Gethsemane,
what were the things that made you sorrow to the point of death?*
what were the things that made your sweat ooze like drops of blood?**

Perhaps you were too lonely.

Sometimes I also want to know how the feeling of sorrow to the point of death is,
so that I can understand your heart more.

Why do you still love us
after so many thousand years and only a few of us can understand you?
Why do you love us so much?

I wish I had been there and wiped your tears and blood.

I love you, Jesus.
