Michael Jackson, one of the greatest artists of all times, with a tragic life, and probably a very lonely and painful soul, is gone.

People the world over mourn his passing.

How does it affect you? How do you feel about Michael Jackson’s music, dance, life, death?

Have a nice weekend.

  1. Dear H,

As a big fan of MJ, I was very shocked knowing that he passed away. The only thing makes me feel regret about him is the negative thinking that sometimes, somehow I thought about him when he was alive.

When MJ died, I heart many people, especially the old people said “chữ tài liền với chữ tai một vần” or “lắm tài nhiều tật”. I am young and I dislike old people sayings. I wonder whether the statement of ND or the idiom “lắm tài nhiều tật” is correct in this case or not, but I dislike people using this statement about MJ. First, he is totally talented, but his death is not the end of a disaster. If MJ is still alive, he will continue to tolerate the negative attitudes of many people, including me, in concern of his scandals. So, thinking in a positive way, I think it’s better for him to leave this “polluted” world and come to his heaven, where he will stay forever in all human’s heart. Then, not all young dead person or victims of some disasters are talented. So if everybody just keep using that statements such as “chữ tài liền với chữ tai”, will they become positive in there thinking? Will they make the others think in a positive way? Of course they won’t. There are two ways of thinking, in concern of that statement. First, people who considered by him/herself or the others as talented would be frightened of their talent. Secondly, people who do not considered him/herself as talented would be “satisfy” as they’re not talented. Ironically, the cautiousness kills the talents.

Back to MJ, with his music, he created great impacts on human and humanity that nobody can replace him. With his dancing, he created a unique style that control everybody’s heart and emotions. So his death is much more valuable than many other people’s life who live for nothing, somehow, including me…

    Sincerely,
    Stone

  2. Dear brother Hoanh,

Although I am not fan of MJ, i am real sad and shock when he passed away. I heard some of his songs. I am impressed by his voice and meaningful lyrics. I think only great soul like his can write the great songs. I also knew he had some of scandal at the end of his life. However, I suppose that he abuse too much medicine that affect negatively his characteristics. I don’t know it’s true or not.
For short, he is the talented singer. I admire him and he still live with us.

    Yours sincerely,
    Hải Yến
