Women’s national football team keep top place in Southeast Asia

The women’s national football team of Vietnam remain at the top place in Southeast Asia although they have dropped three places on the FIFA Women’s World Rankings for August.

According to the rankings, the Vietnamese team has gained 1,657 points, standing sixth in Asia and 35th in the world.

Ranked only behind Vietnam in Southeast Asia, Thailand has secured the 7th place in Asia and 39th place worldwide.

A large cave has been discovered in Tria Village, Huong Son Commune, Huong Hoa District in the central province of Quang Tri, according to Do Van Binh, the director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Locals in Tria Village, Huong Son Commune, Huong Hoa District in the central province of Quang Tri have informed the local authority about the discovery of a new cave in the area.

Binh told VN News he was informed by phone by a local about the cave. However, it was unclear by whom and when it was discovered.

The introduction of 5G has also led to need for research and testing facilities. To meet that need, Qualcomm has announced that it is opening a “Interoperability Testing Laboratory” in Vietnam. Issues of dependency and lack of support leave many elderly citizens exposed to mistreatment by those charged with their care.

At 88, Vo Thi Dung, from southern Tien Giang Province, can no longer walk unassisted and suffers from dementia. Bed-ridden, she is being beaten and slapped by her 57-year-old daughter-in-law.

Several steps away, her son, 56, eventually joins in the violence.

Dự án cao tốc Bến Lức – Long Thành đã 2 lần gia hạn thời gian hoàn thành. Ngân hàng Phát triển châu Á – ADB cho vay 636 triệu USD làm dự án này. Hiệp định vay lần 1 trị giá 350 triệu USD đã hết hạn vay vào ngày 30-6-2019, dự án đã mất khoản tiền vay trị giá khoảng 170 triệu USD chưa kịp nhận.

Huyền sử Bồ tát Đông Hải được viết với truyền thống truyện hành động tâm linh – dùng những hành động trong truyện để chuyển tải những tư tưởng tâm linh sâu sắc. Đây là truyền thống Tây Du Ký và Lĩnh Nam Chích Quái. Các tác giả, Trần Đình Hoành và Phạm Thu Hương, có mục đích đưa tư tưởng Phật triết chính thống và sâu sắc đến với tất cả mọi người, từ các em 6 tuổi đến các bác 60 tuổi, qua những sự kiện và hành động có thể xảy ra trong đời sống, để minh họa cụ thể những tư tưởng triết lý thâm sâu trừu tượng của nhà Phật. Những vấn đề nêu ra trong truyện đều là những vấn đề muôn thuở trong xã hội loài người. Do đó, dù là huyền sử, những tư duy trong truyện vẫn là tư duy của mọi thời đại.

Bộ huyền sử kể lại cuộc đời của một cô bé, vì uất ức đã vô tình phạm tội giết người và chạy trốn. Gặp nhiều hoàn cảnh khó khăn của người khác, cô tích cực giúp đỡ họ với hỗ trợ của Bụt bà. Cô được giới thiệu vào chùa học đạo và võ thuật với một ni cô, thành nữ hiệp võ công thâm hậu cứu người, rồi thành đại tướng quân giúp nước và đạo sư giáo huấn người đời. Cô dùng những hoàn cảnh khó khăn của người khác để vừa gỡ rối cho họ vừa chỉ dạy những điều sâu sắc của Phật pháp mà người đời thường không nắm được. Cô dần dần trở thành Bồ tát cứu độ thế nhân.

Hai tác giả mong đóng góp vào việc hoằng dương Phật pháp, thêm một tác phẩm vào nền văn hóa Việt, và nhất là thêm một bộ truyện để các em vui đọc, vui học, vui chơi.

As tensions between Taiwan and China continue to escalate, satellite images reportedly show amphibious armoured vehicles and mobile missile launchers massing at military bases near the island nation.

Though Taiwan, a country of 25 million people, is happy as an independent democracy, Beijing insists it is a “breakaway province” and “inviolate” Chinese territory, repeatedly stating it will use force to bring the island back under China’s control.

A Thai court ruled Friday that several hundred families in Cambodia who were displaced from their homes may file a class action suit against the Thai company they believe was responsible, a decision hailed as trailblazing by land rights activists.

The Bangkok South Civil Court issued the ruling in a case in which Cambodian farmers are suing Thailand’s Mitr Phol company, one of the world’s largest sugar producers.

First News không nói rõ có kiện các trang thương mại điện tử khác như Shopee hay Sendo, hai trang họ có đề cập trong cáo buộc bán sách giả.

Trước đó, trên Facebook cá nhân, ông Nguyễn Văn Phước – nhà sáng lập và CEO công ty sách First News – tố cáo các sàn thương mại điện tử như Lazada, Shopee, Sendo có các gian hàng bày bán sách vi phạm bản quyền của First News, Alpha Books và các nhà xuất bản khác. Ông Nguyễn Cảnh Bình – Chủ tịch Alpha Books – cũng lên án các trang Lazada, Shopee, Sendo… và vài trăm trang bán sách giả khác bán sách không có bản quyền của công ty ông Bình.
