Jesus,
I swear I’ll become a channel of your peace.
This is the way I support your dream.
This is also the way I show my filial piety to my dad, mom, grandfathers, grandmothers and ancestors.
Will we go together?
Together till the end?
I know you love me.
I love you, too, Jesus.
Amen.
PTH
I read this prayer and wonder if the picture up there is a portrait of Thu Hương. She (in the picture) looks like a channel of peace.

Thanks for the info, TH. This is really good painting technique – ink and gouache on silk with such sharp lines!
The name “Green Sash” reminds me of Greensleeves, an English folk song said to be composed by Henry VIII for his lover and future queen consort Anne Boleyn. The song has inspired numerous paintings. Here is one.
My Lady Greensleeves, an 1864 painting by Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

Wow, “Green Sash”, “Greensleeves”…
Mai Trung Thứ is a Vietnamese-French painter, so the appearance that his artworks have Euro culture and Asia culture is easy to understand.
Thank anh Hoanh for the info.
