English pronunciation – Can and Can’t

Nếu các bạn không phân biệt được âm “can” và “can’t” thì cũng không sao, đừng tuyệt vọng, vì mọi người Mỹ vẫn nghe không được rất nhiều.

Khi một người nói (Ví dụ: Maybe I can do that tomorrow) nhưng người nghe không chắc, thì người nghe thường hỏi lại:

“You mean ‘can’ or ‘can not’?”

Và người kia sẽ trả lời: “Yes, I can do that tomorrow” (Thêm chữ yes vào cho rõ)

hay “No, I cannot” (Thêm chữ No và nói rõ ra là cannot).
