Jesus,
When I am humming Psalm 46 that I have just learned by heart this morning, this part shines suddenly in my mind:
“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.”
The place I am living is Southern Vietnam.
She has a great river – Mekong River.
And I see these pictures:
There is Mekong River whose streams make glad the land of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
Wow, so beautiful.
The pictures make my spirit high
and make me believe in the future of the Mekong Delta,
believing that
God is within the Delta, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
If I live in North, I will see that:
There is Red River whose streams make glad the land of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
If I live in Da Nang, I will see that:
There is Han River whose streams make glad the land of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
…
Wow, so wonderful.
Thank you, Jesus.
Amen.
