Bài hát “Vũ công nhỏ” được Elton John thể hiện; John và Bernie Taupin sáng tác; phát hành vào tháng 11-1971.

Đây là bài hát Taupin viết về người vợ đầu tiên, Maxine Feibelman, đúng là thợ may trong ban nhạc của John và rõ ràng là đã cưới một nhạc sĩ.

Năm 2000, bộ phim “Gần như nổi tiếng” (Almost Famous) dùng bài hát này làm nhạc phim.

A new Microsoft survey shows online civility among Vietnamese netizens to be among the worst in the world.

Vietnam finished in the bottom five of 2020 Digital Civility Index (DCI) collated by American tech giant Microsoft, ranking 21st out of 25 surveyed countries with an overall score of 78 percent.

The report was based on the views of 12,520 adults and teens questioned across 25 countries to assess the extent of negative behavior and online interactions associated with various social media platforms.

A higher score indicates lower perceived civility or good behavior among online users, while a lower score denotes a higher perceived civility.

Some women and girls being recruited in Viet Nam to serve as domestic workers in Saudi Arabia, are suffering sexual abuse and torture, leading a group of UN independent human rights experts on Thursday to call on both nations to curb human trafficking. 

“We are seeing traffickers targeting Vietnamese women and girls living in poverty, many of whom are already vulnerable and marginalized. Traffickers operate with impunity”, they said in a statement. 

After signing on with labour recruitment companies in Viet Nam, some girls and women found themselves sexually abused, beaten and subjected to torture and other cruel treatments by employers once they arrived in Saudi Arabia. 

Often these women are denied food and medical treatment, not paid at all, or paid less than stipulated in their contracts.
