Chạm bầu trời

Dear brothers and sisters,

I like Princess Merida in Brave film. I like her free spirit. Princess likes to live her own life and follow her own path. Great.

Enjoy and have a nice day.

Chạm bầu trời

Khi gió lạnh là tiếng gọi
Và trời trong và sáng,
Núi mờ sương hát và vẫy gọi,
Dẫn em vào ánh sáng. Continue reading Chạm bầu trời

You raise me up

Dear brothers and sisters,

Below is a special song for me.

On our ĐCN’s birthday (February 7), I’ve often sent the song to anh Hoành, brothers and sisters whom we regularly work with, and all of you. I’ve wanted to say: “My dears, thank you all for raising me up. I am grateful to you from my heart. My life has changed miraculously since I met you. Thank you so much, my dears.”

The song here, with anh Hoành’s translation.

Enjoy and have a nice day. Continue reading You raise me up

Power of calmness

Dear brothers and sisters,

Have you seen the power of calmness? Have you seen how calmness changes a person, and changing in a sátna? For example:

We go to a market in the afternoon. We come to a vegetable shop. When we ask a sales woman for details about the vegetables, she’s not happy, perhaps because of us or something else. However when we’re not annoyed, we’re calm, we continue talking with her tenderly, the seller suddenly changes her attitude, she talks to us tenderly. Continue reading Power of calmness

Feeling people love us

Dear brothers and sisters,

When you feel people love you, you are happy and love people. In contrast, when you feel people don’t love you, talk badly about you, treat you badly, lie to you, trick you, betray you…, perhaps you’re not happy and you can hardly love people.

So feeling that people love us is the important feeling.

We can hardly love people when we feel people don’t love us. We easily love people when feeling people love us. Continue reading Feeling people love us

I see you

Dear brothers and sisters,

Avatar is a great film. I watched it before I came into ĐCN. I love the film. The film tells about many things but I only remember a love story in the film. The beautiful love.

So when wandering in our Banana Garden in 2012, when seeing a song in the film, I was happy. I still remember how glad I was.

The great song. Enjoy.

Have a love day. Continue reading I see you

Dear brothers and sisters,

Because I want to understand all things about our grandfathers and grandmothers, so I often feel unhappy when I know nothing about our country’s history. When I know a little about our history, I feel I reconnect with our people, and love our people more.

I’ve thought about Điện Biên Phủ in recent days. I’ve wanted to understand The Battle of Điện Biên Phủ for a long time. So I started researching on The Battle last night.

Chiến thắng Điện Biên is a popular song about The Battle. Enjoy.

Everything is rhythm

“Foli” is the word used for rhythm by the Malinke tribe in West Africa. But Foli is not only found in Malinke music, but in all parts of their daily lives. Directed by Thomas Roebers, this short film portrays the people of Baro, a small town in eastern-central Guinea, and gives you a glimpse inside their culture of rhythm. As the Malinke man says, “Tous les choses, c’est du rythme.” (“Everything is rhythm.”) What makes this film even more beautiful is the fact that it was edited so as to reflect Malinke rhythms. Spring

Dear brothers and sisters,

I’ve been waiting for a long time to share with you about this song – Spring of Vivaldi.

Vivaldi had the song list Four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The song Winter was the first song I posted. So I waited for summer to come in order to share with you the song Summer. Then I waited for autumn to come in order to talk about the song Autumn. And now is spring, I’m glad to have the opportunity to share the song Spring. Continue reading Spring
