Who was Jesus?

Jesus was a person who prayed continually.

1. He prayed continually to God. He “often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (Luke 5:16)

– After he had fed the crowd and dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he were there alone. (Matthew 14:23)

– He spent the night praying to God before choosing his twelve disciples. (Luke 6:12-13)

– Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. (Mark 1:35)

2. He prayed continually to God, before, while and after doing something.

He prayed

before raising Lazarus from the dead, (John 11:41-42)
while healing a deaf and mute man, (Mark 7:34-35)
after healing a man with leprosy. (Luke 5:16)

Jesus’ life is the praying life.

Jesus was a person who prayed continually.
