The United States is “indispensable,” Kishida said, adding that Japan is fully committed to upholding the same values and thus has transformed from a “reticent ally” to a “strong, committed” one in recent years. Kishida’s address to Congress was the first (Bloomberg) by a Japanese leader since 2015 and occurred during a visit where the two nations also held a first-of-its-kind trilateral summit with the Philippines. A joint statement issued after the summit called (Nikkei) the three countries “equal partners and trusted friends,” and pledged to advance a vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific region with more such meetings “for decades to come.” |

Tác giả, anh Nguyễn Đức Quang, là một trong những người sáng lập phong trào du ca Việt Nam ở miền Nam cuối thập niên 1960s đầu thập niên 70s.
Du ca là nhạc sinh viên, do thanh niên sinh viên sáng tác. “Du” là đi, có ý là nhạc trên đường đi khắp quê hương, không phải nhạc phòng trà hay sân khấu.
Đây là nhạc tích cực, ngược hẳn với nhạc phản chiến bi thảm của Trịnh Công Sơn, và cả hai loại nhạc này đều được sinh viên miền Nam thời đó ưa chuộng.
Nhạc sĩ Nguyễn Đức Quang (1944 – 27 tháng 3, 2011) là một nhà báo, đồng thời là một nhạc sĩ. Anh sinh năm 1944 ở Sơn Tây, Bắc Việt. Năm 1954 khi Việt Nam bị chia đôi thì anh theo gia đình di cư vào Nam, định cư ở Đà Lạt. Anh nhập học và tốt nghiệp Trường Đại Học Đà Lạt – Phân Khoa Chính Trị Kinh Doanh.

When the waiter, about 19, brought out our 2 bowls of pho, he held each bowl with his index fingers and thumbs of both hands, by the rim of the bowl – the two thumbs inside the rim, the two index fingers outside the rim, to lift the bowl from a tray, and put the bowl down on the table in front of us. JERUSALEM (AP) — The Israel-Hamas war has stretched on for half a year and become one of the most destructive, deadly, and intractable conflicts of the 21st century.
Since Hamas’ Oct. 7 cross-border attack, Israel has pummeled the Gaza Strip, displacing the vast majority of the population and causing many to flee to Gaza’s southernmost city, Rafah. Food is scarce, the U.N. says famine is approaching and few Palestinians have been able to leave the besieged territory.
Meanwhile, Hamas continues to fire rockets into Israel from Gaza, and Hezbollah and other militant groups do so from southern Lebanon, prompting tit-for-tat fighting that has displaced thousands of civilians on both sides of Israel’s borders. Hamas is still holding hostages taken during the Oct. 7 raid, as well as the bodies of some who died in captivity. And cease-fire talks stretch on with no end in sight.

Mùa dịch Covid năm 2022, có một lần mình đi xe bus từ quận 12 về quận 1. Lúc đó gần Tết, hai bên đường những chậu hoa vàng hoa đỏ trưng Tết được bày bán rất nhiều. Nhiều người đi xem hoa và nhiều người mua hoa. Đường xá vì thế mà đông đúc hơn và tấp nập hơn.

Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole (phát âm tiếng thổ dân Hawaii [kəˌmɐkəˌvivoˈʔole]), có nghĩa “Đôi mắt không sợ”, là ca sĩ béo phì người Hawaii, một tiểu bang hải đảo rất đẹp và là nơi du lịch và quay phim nổi tiếng của Mỹ. Kamakawiwoʻole bị bệnh béo phì cả đời, đã có lúc hơn 373 kg và do đó bị đủ thứ bệnh thường xuyên. Anh qua đời năm chỉ 37 tuổi (1997).
Dù cơ thể quá nặng, Kamakawiwoʻole có giọng ca rất nhẹ nhàng truyền cảm, luôn vui vẻ yêu đời, và luôn hát những bài ca vui tươi tích cực.
