Dr. Le Van Be, director of the Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals, believes in the power of vaccines. And he is committed to seeing locally made influenza vaccine become a reality.
When Dr. Le Van Be was a child, a young girl in his town contracted rabies. Passed from an infected dog, the virus raced through her body, first bringing fever, headaches, and nausea, then eventually, hallucinations, paralysis, and death.

Listening to the melody, I feel every piano sound looks like a springy step. I see a beautiful day. Sunny morning. The smell of flowers in the wind. So sweet and fresh. I walk, I jump, then I dance as a kid. And the wind comes. The wind raises me up. Rising up to the heaven. I feel the rhythm of my heart – the heart suddenly realizes that Love loves me.
Yes, Love loves me.
Love is around me. Love is always with me. Love loves me. I didn’t know. Then one day I felt Love loved me, my heart was suddenly full of love. And it has been that way ever since. Magical!
