Jesus,
There is nothing new under the sun,(1)
why did you do miracles,
from changing water into wine at the start(2)
to raising Lazarus from the dead at the end?(3)
Because humans like new things,
because humans believe they’ll grow in seeing new things,
you did miracles,
you did new and strange things.
You loved humans.
So you used things that humans liked in order to preach for humans.
And humans,
they came to you because of new and strange things,
not because of your words,
not because of you.
Perhaps you were lonely.(4)
You loved humans
but no one understood you,
no one could share your soul.
Poor you.
But you were lucky.
You preached only 3 years and died.
Wishing I’ll be dead soon.
But I hope I’ll be dead after my parents have passed away.
