WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States wants a meeting soon aimed at reviving a four-way dialogue between itself, Japan, India and Australia to deepen security cooperation and coordinate alternatives for regional infrastructure financing to that offered by China, a senior U.S. official said on Friday.

Soft European cheese has fallen on hard times in China. Customs officials have banned a host of soft, mould-ripened cheese for containing “too much bacteria”, with authorities reportedly alarmed the mould contained colonies of bacteria that had not been officially approved.

Trước tháng 6/2014, Việt Nam là một trong 3 quốc gia thuộc khối ASEAN (cùng với Lào và Myanmar) không có nhân sự tham gia Lực lượng gìn giữ hoà bình Liên hợp quốc (LLGGHBLHQ)- lực lượng thường được gọi là “lính mũ nồi xanh”. Từ khi Trung tâm gìn giữ hoà bình Việt Nam được thành lập vào tháng 5/2014, tính đến nay, Việt Nam đã cử 19 lượt sĩ quan tham gia LLGGHBLHQ tại Phái bộ GGHBLHQ tại Cộng hoà Trung Phi (MINUSCA) và Phái bộ GGHBLHQ tại Nam Sudan (UNMISS). Nhiệm kỳ của mỗi sĩ quan là 01 năm.

Vào khoảng 17h ngày 17/8, thông tin về cuộc tấn công xuất hiện trên mạng xã hội. Khoảng hai giờ sau, cảnh sát xác nhận Tây Ban Nha vừa trải qua một cuộc tấn công chết người. Một chiếc xe tải trắng tăng tốc, đâm vào người đi bộ ở khu vực Las Ramblas, thành phố Barcelona, làm ít nhất 13 người chết, hơn 50 người bị thương.

ANTD.VN – Thêm một mắt xích quan trọng của chiến lược “Vành đai, con đường” của Trung Quốc sắp được xây dựng khi Thái Lan bắt tay làm tuyến đường sắt cao tốc nối Thủ đô Bangkok với khu vực Đông Bắc nhằm kết nối với tuyến đường sắt qua Lào sang Trung Quốc.

Sau nhiều lần trì hoãn, ngày 11-7, Chính phủ Thái Lan cuối cùng cũng đã thông qua dự án đường sắt xuyên quốc gia với vốn đầu tư giai đoạn đầu 179,4 tỷ baht (khoảng 5,2 tỷ USD) để xây dựng 253 km đường sắt tốc độ cao nối Thủ đô Bangkok với tỉnh Nakhon Ratchasima ở Đông Bắc Thái Lan. Để dự án được thông qua, Chính phủ của Thủ tướng Prayut Chan-o-cha đã phải vận dụng Hiến pháp lâm thời 2014 (Hiến pháp ban hành sau cuộc đảo chính quân sự) và được bảo lưu trong Hiến pháp 2017 để có thể vượt qua nhiều rào cản pháp lý.

TTO – Bình Nhưỡng đã năm lần thử hạt nhân và hơn chục lần bắn thử các loại tên lửa. Không biết bao nhiêu lời răn đe, không biết bao nhiêu biện pháp trừng phạt đã được công bố nhưng có vẻ đâu vẫn hoàn đấy. Vì sao vậy?
