Trả lời PV Tuổi Trẻ về những hạn chế của Luật dược 2005 và liệu việc sửa đổi Luật dược lần này có giải quyết được hết những bất cập của ngành dược VN, bà Phong Lan nói:
Luật dược 2005 tuy đã quy định các chính sách tạo cơ chế cho việc phát triển ngành dược nhưng các chính sách này chưa cụ thể, thiếu đột phá, thiếu sự đầu tư về vốn của Nhà nước, chưa quy định chính sách tạo động lực cho công nghiệp dược phát triển như bảo đảm đầu ra cho thuốc sản xuất trong nước, phát triển thuốc từ dược liệu, nghiên cứu, sản xuất các loại dược chất, tá dược từ nguồn nguyên liệu dược liệu sẵn có tại Việt Nam, sản xuất thuốc generic, văcxin, sinh phẩm…

Experts and authorities in Ho Chi Minh City are concerned over the mass fish deaths occurring in an iconic canal following unseasonal rains.
The phenomenon has been happening for years along the Nhieu Loc- Thi Nghe Canal, typically at the beginning of the annual rainy season, though unseasonal downpours earlier this month seem to have had the same fatal affect on the canal’s marine life.
Though the reason behind the phenomenon has already been determined, a variety of proposed solutions has failed to bring about a permanent fix.

ĐỒNG NAI — A mass grave containing remains of some 150 Vietnamese martyrs in the American War was discovered on Thursday in the southern province of Đồng Nai.
The Steering Committee on Search, Collection and Excavation of Martyrs’ Remains, also known as Steering Committee 1237, announced it had found the mass grave at about 10am after several days of digging at a site at the Biên Hòa airport.

mekongeye_At the end of June 2016, WLE Greater Mekong published a series of maps identifying dams on the Irrawaddy, Salween, Mekong, and Red rivers and their tributaries. The maps cover existing dams, dams under construction, planned dams, and cancelled dams; both irrigation dams and hydroelectric dams are mapped, as long as they have a reservoir size of at least 0.5 km2 and/or have an installed capacity of at least 15 megawatts (for hydroelectric dams).
