Thank you for being with me during the past year.
Thank you for opening my heart so that I can know how to love you and love people more.
Thank you for being my faithful friend.

Please continue being with me in the new year.
Be patient with me.
Open my heart so that I can learn what you want me to learn.
Help my heart become tender.
Fill my heart with your love
so that I can love people as you love us.

Please show me how to love you more.
