Jesus,

“Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.”*

Yes, they are blessed,
for they have a friend.
He comes and wipes their weeping eyes.
They’re not alone anymore.

Who is he
that can do it
except you?

Yes, only you can do it.
Giving them peace.
Eternal peace.
Peace that after I look into your eyes,
I know
the world I live in
is such bright.
