Jesus,
“Be still and know that I am God.”*
I think about these words
and I feel that you are talking to me, Jesus.
“Be still and know that I am God.”
“Be still.”
Yes, let me be still
as the quiet waters that you lead me to.**
“Be still.”
For you are with me.
You said,
“Surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age.”***
“And know that I am God.”
Yes, you are my God, Jesus.
You are my shepherd.
You are the good shepherd.
The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.****
I come to you.
For you are gentle and humble in heart
and I find rest for my soul.
Teach me.
For your yoke is easy and your burden is light.*****
I love you, Jesus.
Amen.
PTH
