Hi brothers and sisters,
I tell you a short story.
I drink coffee at a bakery & coffee shop every morning in the last few weeks. This shop is a part of Thanh Tam Specialized School (Thanh Tâm – Vietnamese). This is the school that educates, cares for and rehabilitates children with disabilities. And this school is a part of Saint Paul Convent in Da Nang.
The servants in the shop are youths (some of them can’t talk or/and can’t hear) and a soeur. Soeurs often work in order taker or cashier positions. The soeurs here are youths, maybe older than me about one to five years.
Cakes and coffee here are fresh and good (for me, of course 🙂 ). So I often order a milk-coffee and a cupcake or some other kind of cake.
Today it’s rain so I want to have a breakfast here. After ordering, I go to the familiar seat. From this seat, I can watch a garden and the classes on the left of the shop. The small garden with banana trees and other trees between the shop and the classes.
The pupils learn and talk to one another with sign language in class, I admire them deeply. And I remind myself that I need to learn more and work harder.
While I’m watching them, a servant brings out a tray of food and coffee. Oh, that is a soeur! I stand up and put the Bible on the table.
– “Does soeur bring food for me?”
The soeur smiles.
The first time I am served by a soeur. Oh, I am so happy…
In John 13:14 Jesus said: “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” A soeur’s serving me makes me so happy, so if Jesus wash my feet as Jesus washed the disciples’ feet, how would I feel? 🙂
I think Jesus serves me a lot and I wish I can feel and undertand the love of Jesus more. And I also wish I can love everyone as Jesus does and serve everyone as Jesus does.
I’m a bad servant, I know. Please forgive me and give me a chance to try everyday, my dear friends.
I’m listening to the song: “I’m trying to be like Jesus” (ĐCN introduced this song here). Do you want to listen with me? Let’s enjoy.

The story ends.
Love you. ♥
Have a nice day.
Thu Hương,
A soeur (tiếng Pháp) là chị, em ạ.
