Dear brothers and sisters,
“Work like you don’t need money,
Love like you’ve never been hurt,
Sing like no one is listening,
Dance like no one’s watching,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
Mark Twain (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer.
What does that mean? Continue reading Work like you don’t need money
Dear brothers and sisters,
Every time a bad thing happen to our world or country or friends or family or ourselves, we often try to explain.
We often try to explain all the suffering, evil, torture, destruction and hunger. We often try to explain with our formulas, religion or whatever things we can think of. However, no explanation can explain away all bad things.
We can’t explain away all bad things. Bad thing always exists, and no explanation can explain away all bad things. Continue reading Living with life as it is
Dear brothers and sisters,
The thing I love from Buddha and Jesus is tenderness.
Buddha and Jesus are tender.
Their tenderness makes my heart melt into water. My mind wants to cling to them. My soul totally submits to them.
Their tenderness heals my heart. Every time my heart is unhappy, I look at them, their tenderness comforts my soul. My headache goes away. I sleep well, I work well, I love people and love life as nothing happens.
Buddha and Jesus are tender. And Buddha and Jesus are tender with me.
Every time I lose my footing, they pull me back, they don’t let me go astray, and they hold my hand. They lead me in their way again. They are patient with me.
Oh, Buddha and Jesus, my sweet and tender love, I love you. I want to be one with you. Please fill my soul with your tenderness so that I may love you tenderly every moment of all my life.
This is the thing I love from Buddha and Jesus, perhaps the thing I love most.
Have a tender day.

Its dams are provoking regional tensions, so Beijing needs to reconsider its policy

Asia, the world’s driest continent in per capita terms, remains the center of dam construction, with more than half of the 50,000 large dams across the globe. The hyperactivity on dams has only sharpened local and international disputes over the resources of shared rivers and aquifers.

HO CHI MINH CITY – It is fairly common that a person accused of a crime has the right to an attorney, but what about the victim of the alleged crime? About This Show
Autocrats and populists are on the march around the world, including in European countries that were seen until recently as firmly in the democratic camp. The phenomenon, coupled with the deepening of authoritarian tendencies in already-repressive Russia and China, has prompted worries that liberalism itself may be waning.
This week on And Now the Hard Part, we trace the roots of the problem and talk about how to fix it.
