Nhưng Greensleeves không phải là một thánh ca. Greensleeves là tình ca. Người ta không hát Greensleeves, nhưng người ta luôn luôn trình tấu Greensleeves với organ, piano hay harp trong nhà thờ.
Greensleeves là một dân ca Anh quốc, viết theo thể điệu trữ tình gọi là Romanesca. Năm 1560 một bản nhạc ballad đã được đăng ký với London Stationer’s Company, công ty độc quyền xuất bản nhạc của Anh, dưới tên “A New Northern Dittye of the Lady Greene Sleeves”. Hôm qua chi Huỳnh Huệ cho chúng ta nghe 13 bản nhạc Giáng Sinh quốc tế bất tử. Đương nhiên là các bản này chúng ta cũng ca hát thường xuyên ở VN. Hôm nay thêm vào nhạc xanh Giáng Sinh, mời các bạn nghe vài bản thánh ca Việt. Các thánh ca này thường chỉ hát trong nhà thờ.
Dưới đây là bài
Hang Bê Lem, bản thánh ca Giáng Sinh số 1 của Việt Nam, của nhạc sĩ Hải Linh, do nhóm MTG trình bày. MTG có lẽ là các xơ Dòng Mến Thánh Giá.
Cao Cung Lên, do ca sĩ Mỹ Huyền và các bạn trình bày.
Mùa Đông Năm Ấy, của nhạc sĩ Hoài Đức, biểu diễn bởi các ca sĩ Mai Hậu và Xuân Trường, và các xơ Dòng Con Đức Mẹ Mân Côi.
Lại một mùa Noel về trong tiết trời lanh giá nhưng ấm áp tình người trong nỗi rạo rực của hồn ta.
Giáng sinh đã trở thành một ngày lễ quốc tế không chỉ là với người tín hữu Ki Tô giáo, mà gần như với mọi người và những biểu tượng quen thuộc: cây thông Noel với những vòng dây kim tuyến, và quả châu, đèn màu lấp lánh, nến Giáng sinh, ông già Noel, quà tặng và thiệp chúc mừng…
Noel còn có ý nghĩa khác là tình yêu thương và bác ái, biết sẻ chia với người hoạn nạn, khó khăn. Đặc biệt trước hết là sự quan tâm, gắn bó và yêu thương những người gần gũi quanh ta: gia đình, bạn bè, láng giềng, đồng nghiệp, …Tinh thần của Noel đẹp như thế trong lời cầu nguyện cho vinh danh một đấng Nhân Lành trên trời và bình an dưới thế cho người thiện tâm.
Hai ngày nữa là Noel. Nhạc đã réo rắt, chuông đã ngân vang và thiệp mừng đã gửi. Cây thông Noel đã sáng lấp lánh và hang đá với máng cỏ xinh xắn đã ở trước nhà. Giáng sinh chưa qua, nhưng ước gì Giáng sinh với những trái tim yêu mở ra nỗi hân hoan chào đón tin lành và tình thương cứ ở mãi trong lòng người cho dù những quả châu, kim tuyến, đèn màu, đồ trang trí kia một hôm nào có bị tháo gỡ và cất đi.
Xin gửi tặng các bạn những câu danh ngôn về Giáng sinh với tình cảm ấy. Thân chúc tất cả các bạn Đọt Chuối Non một mùa Giáng sinh an hòa trọn vẹn trong yêu thương và chia sẻ với nhau để những niềm vui ấy sẽ lan tỏa và mãi cùng chúng ta cho đến mủa Giáng Sinh sau. Và ta lại có thể chúc mừng nhau.

Các bạn có ngạc nhiên không khi biết bài Jingle Bells, một trong những bài hát Giáng sinh nổi tiếng của Mỹ lại được viết đầu tiên cho Lễ Tạ Ơn. Tác giả viết nhạc và lời của bài này là một mục sư có tên James Pierpoint. Ông sáng tác bản nhạc này vào năm 1857 cho các con ông nhân dịp lễ Tạ Ơn. Bài hát được yêu thích và được hát khắp trên thế giới vào dịp Giáng sinh và không chỉ trẻ em yêu mến bài hát quen thuộc và bất hủ này.
Một bài hát Noel truyền thống và cổ xưa hơn la bài Silent Night.
Nguyên thủy bài hát này là một bài thơ do một linh muc người Áo tên Joseph Mohr viết năm 1816. Vào một đêm Noel của năm 1818 trong ngôi làng nhỏ Oberndorf ở gần dãy núi Alps, cây đàn organ tại nhà thờ Thánh Nicholas bị hỏng. Joseph Mohr đưa bài thơ của mình Silen Night ( Stille Nacht ) cho anh bạn Franz Xavier Gruber và giai điệu cho bài hát ấy được soạn trong đầu. Âm nhạc dự kiến cho bài hát này là đàn guitar và phần nhạc được hoàn thành kịp cho lễ nửa đêm. Silent Night được tôn là bản Thánh ca nổi tiếng nhất mọi thời đại và tính ra bản nhạc này đã trên 190 tuổi. Thế nên có thể xem những bản nhạc này là bất tử.
Những bài ca Noel đã trở thành một sắc thái văn hóa mang tính quốc tế vì âm nhạc thường không có ranh giới. Các bài thánh ca này cũng thế, đã vượt thời gian, không gian và cả sự khác biệt về chủng tộc, hay tôn giáo để được hát bởi nhiều người, kể cả những người không có đạo Thiên Chúa.

Hotel California đã ra đời khi nhóm The Eagles lần đầu tiên đến Los Angeles và sau khi phát hành trong album cùng tên năm 1977, bài hát nhanh chóng đứng trong top những bài hát được biết đến nhiều nhất trong thời kì này.
Lời của bài hát mô tả sự xa hoa của một khu nghỉ dưỡng nơi mà “bạn có thể rời bất cứ lúc nào bạn thích, nhưng [thực tế là] bạn sẽ không bao giờ rời được”. Beatboxing là nghệ thuật dùng miệng để giả làm các nhạc cụ khác, bên cạnh hát đúng tiếng mình hay giả tiếng người khác. Trước đây chúng ta có post “Natually 7 beatboxes cả dàn nhac” cho ban Naturally 7. Nhưng trong video sau đây, chỉ một mình nghệ sĩ người Pháp Jean-Claude Bonno, với sự giúp đở của một cây guitar thùng, beatboxes đủ mọi loại ban nhạc, từ ban nhạc dân ca Mỹ với đàn fiddle, banjo, guitar điện và giọng hát dân ca, đến ban nhạc nhà quê Pháp với harmonia, accordion, guitar, trống, đến ban nhạc jazz với saxophone, trống…
Thiên tài beatboxing. Nhắm mắt để nghe, các bạn sẽ thấy Jean-Claude Bonno beatboxes trung thực đến mức nào.

Ai trong chúng ta cũng đã nghe Santana dù là ta có biết tên hay không, nhất là hai bản Black Magic Women và Oye Como Va nỗi tiếng từ thời thập niên 70s và vẫn còn thịnh hành ngày nay trên các sàn nhảy Việt Nam.
Carlos Santana, sinh ngày 7.20.1947, là nghệ sĩ guitar người Mỹ gốc Mễ Tây Cơ. Santana bắt đầu nỗi tiếng cuối thập niên 60s đầu thập niên 70s, với ban nhạc do anh lập lấy họ của mình làm tên, Santana, chơi một loại nhạc rock trộn lẫn rock, Salsa và jazz, cùng với đường guitar ngọt lịm bóng bẩy của Carlos, và các nhạc cụ Nam Mỹ như trống congas và timbales.
Trong thập niên 1990s, Santana lại bất đầu một lượt thành công với các bạn nhạc mới, trình diễn chung với các nghệ sĩ hàng con cháu.

Hình như mình đã post show này trước đây rồi, nhưng show hay thì xem lại cũng không sao. Đây là show múa rối bóng (shadow puppet), tao bằng bóng đen của đôi bàn tay trên tường. Mong rằng tất cả chúng ta sẽ cố gắng gìn giữ nét đẹp của rừng xanh cũng như nét đẹp của văn hóa Tây Nguyên.
Mai nầy nếu các bạn có ảnh và thông tin cho mỗi tỉnh của Tây Nguyên, mình có thể làm PPS riêng cho từng tỉnh. Nhưng mình cần các bạn “thổ địa” hướng dẫn làm việc đó.

Hotel California đã ra đời khi nhóm The Eagles lần đầu tiên đến Los Angeles và sau khi phát hành trong album cùng tên năm 1977, bài hát nhanh chóng đứng trong top những bài hát được biết đến nhiều nhất trong thời kì này. 
Bản đầu tiên The Eagles phát hành do Henley hát và kết thúc bằng một đoạn nhạc guitar điện rất tuyệt vời do Felder và Joe Walsh trình bày.
