What have I been doing

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

When I opened ĐCN in Feb. 2009, 15 years ago, I had a general idea what positive thinking was, but I was not sure how far I had to go to be honest to myself and to the world, because many people talked about positive thinking and most of them were negative. I knew I would have to show people what true positive thinking was, but I wan’t sure how far I had to go. What I am writing today, I didn’t really think about at that time, although I had had enough knowledge then – I was thinking maybe I wouldn’t have to go that far. Since then, the experience has shown me that I would have to go all the way to God, Buddha, Bodhisattvas, and the saints to really help folks reach true positive thinking. Anything short of that is not positive enough. Writing about positive thinking for 15 years has helped me undertand the depth of positive thinking and the necessity of going to the roots and the foundation of positive thinking in order to complete my job of bringing positive thinking to some brothers and sisters.

Both you, my long-term readers, and I have truly travelled together and grown together. Thank you, my dear friends.

I talk about this little history to explain why I really focus on spirituality, which is tâm linh in Vietnamese, and tâm linh means sacred heart – your sacred heart. My tâm linh is not really religion, although its core ideas are from the major world religions’ ideas – sacred books of major religions carry core ideas about the sacred human heart. Nothing I write is my invention. My job is to deliver sacred ideas in a way that is easy to understand.

All this exploration has costed me more than half a century. You guys and gals who read me at least should remember that you are now relaxingly get what I spent more than 50 years to study, sponder, contemplate and experience, seriously and very difficultly.

Truly, calculating economically, you guys and gals get what may cost a huge pile of money for zero đồng. Profitable exchange.

I really care about each one of you. I really care about our motherland Vietnam. I really care about our troubled world.

In my heart, I am absolutely sure that if I can help one brother or sister become truly positive, I shall have given to the world an everlasting rose.

With compassion,

Hoành
