High Priest Prayer
This chapter contains Jesus’ prayer often called High Priest Prayer, because Jesus acts as a mediator, interceding on behalf of His disciples and all believers, much like a high priest would in the Old Testament.
The High Priest Prayer can be divided into three parts:
Jesus Prays for Himself (John 17:1–5):
Jesus begins by asking God to glorify Him so that He may glorify the Father. He acknowledges the completion of His earthly mission to reveal God to humanity and asks to return to the glory He shared with the Father before the world began.

Mấy nay Sài Gòn trời nắng nóng, mình phải uống rất nhiều nước để giữ cơ thể chống lại cái nóng. Trưa nay trời rất nắng, mình vừa đi ngoài đường về nhà thì có bác người quen nhờ đi mua trái dừa vì sẵn tiện mình đang đi xe máy, và vì chỗ bán dừa hơi xa, bác không tiện đi bộ giữa trời nắng.
Mình tới quán bán mấy trái dừa. Sẵn tiện mua cho bác, mình cũng mua cho mình một trái, vì theo Đông y, nước dừa vừa có tính hàn và tính thấp, tức là vừa mát để chống cái nóng, và thấp là cái sệt sệt để chống lại cái khô táo của trời nắng. Thật đúng là cái mà cơ thể mình đang cần giữa trời nắng nóng và khô táo. Mình nhận ra ngay việc bác kia nhờ mình đi mua nước dừa là phép lạ của Chúa làm cho mình, để giúp giữ mình khỏe mạnh.

Manila, Philippines – Almost three years after leaving the presidency, former President Rodrigo Duterte has been arrested by Philippine authorities in Manila, upon the request of the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague, which is investigating allegations of “crimes against humanity” committed during his six years in power.
Duterte was immediately taken into police custody on Tuesday at the Manila international airport following his arrival from Hong Kong, in a move hailed by human rights groups as “a critical step for accountability in the Philippines”.

Con gái mình học lớp 1. Hôm qua, mình ngồi ôn bài cho bé nhà mình, bé sắp kiểm tra một môn trên trường. Đợt này bài cần ôn khá nhiều. Đang ôn, mình có nói với bé: “Còn nhiều bài quá An ơi, ba sợ ôn không kịp!”
Bé liền quay lại nhìn mình và cười vui vẻ nói: “Có gì đâu mà ba phải lo lắng. Cứ làm bài hết sức. Bài nào làm không được thì thôi.” Mình vừa giật mình, vừa buồn cười. Nghĩ trong lòng: “Ừ ha, tự nhiên mình lo lắng chi vậy, cứ cố gắng ôn cho nó, được từng nào hay từng đó.”
Mình biết đó là Chúa muốn nói với mình thông qua miệng của con mình, nhắc mình luôn có Chúa bên cạnh và giữ lòng tĩnh lặng, vui vẻ. Sự bên cạnh và nhắc nhở kịp thời đó là phép lạ của Chúa với mình.

At the end of John 14, Jesus says, “Come now, let us leave,” which suggests a transition or departure from the room where the Last Supper took place. However, Chapters 15 through 17 continue with Jesus delivering extended teachings (such as the Vine and the Branches metaphor in John 15) and His High Priestly Prayer in John 17. These chapters seem to flow seamlessly, without an explicit mention of a change in location.

Mình có một anh bạn học cùng lớp có tính rất hay. Anh hay mang bánh kẹo, đậu phộng… cho các bạn trong lớp, để các bạn ăn trong giờ nghỉ giải lao, rồi có sức để học bài. Anh biết mình thích ăn đậu phộng nên hay chuẩn bị cho mình một bì đậu phộng và đưa cho mình.
Đối với mình đó là phép lạ của Chúa. Vì món ăn này vừa đủ nhẹ nhàng để dễ tiêu hóa, vừa nhiều năng lượng để giúp mình tập trung học bài. Thật là vừa vặn. Việc anh bạn quan tâm tới mọi người ở những chi tiết nhỏ như vậy làm cho không khí bạn bè thật ấm áp và gần gũi. Với mình đó chả phải là tình cờ, đó là phép màu của sự quan tâm, của tình bạn, là bàn tay Chúa đang chăm sóc mình. Mình cũng rất trân trọng tấm lòng và hành động này của anh.

Anh Hoành wrote in A brief exposition on the Heart Sutra (12):
“Suffering, ultimately, is a mental phenomenon. Even if the stimulus is external, such as a hard slap on the face, it is still the mind that suffers or not—if your cheek is burning from the slap but your mind feels happy about it, then where is the suffering? Therefore, Buddhism teaches the extinction of suffering by teaching us to control our mind, i.e., to keep the mind tranquil at all time. 13 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.
Different interpretations of about “the devil had already prompted Judas.” Does that means Judas was not responsible for his act?
