A restaurant on Thai Ha Street hired topless waiters to attract customers

The trend started at a restaurant on Thai Ha Street. The images of young men without a shirt on and hot body made many curious and went to the restaurant to see for themselves.

Tran Thai Linh, a local in Dong Da District, said she also went to the restaurant out of curiosity but then she was disappointed after discovering that the men only appeared for two minutes when the restaurant introduce new dishes.

Nha Trang nature reserve may be operated by private firm

Tourists in Hon Mun 

Earlier in February this year, the provincial people’s committee agreed on Hon Tam Nha Trang Sea JS Company’s proposal to manage Hon Mun Nature Reserve. The company would also provide eco-tourism tours.

The company has co-operated with Australia’s Reef Ecologic to survey the condition of the reserve.

Viet Nam News HCM CITY — Pork without clear origins will not be allowed to be sold in HCM City’s two main wholesale markets–Hóc Môn and Bình Điền–starting next month, the city administration has announced.

The city will closely control the origin of pork at wholesale markets at first, and after July 30 the policy will be applied to other food products, deputy chairman of the city’s People’s Committee Trần Vĩnh Tuyến told a meeting with the city’s Food Safety Management Board and officials from 24 districts on Wednesday.

HÀ NỘI — Dengue fever cases is on the rise in Hà Nội, as weather has been favourable to the development of infected mosquitoes.Statistics from the Hà Nội Health Department show that 1,281 cases of dengue fever were recorded in the city by June 4, 2.6 times more than the same period last year.

Of these, 126 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals and one person has reportedly died in Đống Đa District’s Trung Liệt Ward.

Vietnam’s first ‘book city’ opens in Binh Duong

The first-ever ‘book city’ in Vietnam welcomed its first visitors on Thursday inside a mega shopping mall in Binh Duong, a neighboring province of Ho Chi Minh City.

The 3,000 square meter ‘Phuong Nam Book City’ features 500,000 books and reading spaces aimed at attracting Vietnamese youth to the venue at AEON Mall Binh Duong Canary at No. 01 Binh Duong Boulevard, Thuan An Town.

“We wanted to create a unique space for books, a place where every book that a reader needs could be found,” said Ngo Le Huan, deputy director of Phuong Nam Corp (PNC), the company behind the mega bookstore.
