(1) Thanh tra Eliot Ness (1903-1957) là Chỉ huy Đội cảnh sát điều tra nhắm vào băng tội phạm Al Capone ở Chicago, Mỹ.
Những năm 1920-1930, Chicago là kinh đô tội phạm của nước Mỹ, đứng đầu thế giới ngầm tội ác này là Al Capone. Chính phủ gần như bó tay với đối tượng này vì Al Capone đã mua chuộc gần như hầu hết quan chức trong chính quyền. Thế nên thanh tra Eliot Nes đã tuyển chọn những cảnh sát ưu tú và đáng tin cậy nhất, vì lúc bấy giờ tham nhũng tràn lan trong lực lượng Cảnh sát Chicago, ban đầu ông tuyển chọn 50 người, sau đó giảm xuống còn 15 người, và cuối cùng là 11 người. (3) Có lẽ đây là Liberace (1919 – 1987) – nghệ sĩ dương cầm, ca sĩ và diễn viên người Mỹ (gốc Ý và Ba Lan) với sự nghiệp kéo dài bốn thập kỷ với các buổi hòa nhạc, ghi âm, truyền hình, điện ảnh.
(4) Chucks là giày Converse, thương hiệu được giới trẻ bình dân đánh giá cao và không quá đắt. Giày Bally đắt hơn nhiều và được giới thượng lưu đánh giá cao.
