Planting strawberries

Sapa corner

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How are you? What have you recently planted?

Sapa is in springtime. I think this is the perfect time to plant something.

Last week, I started my plant project by buying five strawberry mother plants. They are native to Mộc Châu, Sơn La. The plants already had some green berries.

Even though I don’t have a green thumb, I was so excited to plant the strawberries.  After preparing hanging planters and some garden tools, I filled the bottom of each planter with potting soil. I planted one strawberry per planter. Next, I added more soil and watered the strawberries. And finally, I hung them outside where the plants can get enough morning sunlight.

Growing the strawberries has given me so much joy. Every morning, I water and take care of them. I feel like the plants are my beloved friends.

Hopefully, my project will bear fruit, and I’ll be able to harvest flavorful strawberries at home.

Have a green day.

Cheers,

An An
