Resham Firiri (tiếng Nepal: रेशम ेरररी) là bài hát dân gian rất nổi tiếng ở Nepal. Bài hát được Buddhi Pariyar sáng tác và phát hành năm 1969.

Hầu hết người dân Nepal đều biết và hát được bài này. Họ hát trong các bữa tiệc, lễ hội và tự giải trí. Đây cũng là bài hát nổi tiếng để Nepal giới thiệu truyền thống và văn hóa Nepal cho người nước ngoài. Thế giới có quá nhiều vấn đề, và mỗi khi ta nhìn các vấn đề của thế giới – từ vấn đề của chính ta, đến những người quanh ta, đến thành phố ta, đất nước ta, rồi cả thế giới – ta thấy bị tràn ngập xao xuyến bởi khối lượng vĩ đại của vấn đề và nỗi tuyệt vọng về giải pháp.

Canadian defense minister Harjit Sajjan has made it clear that his nation is against militarization in the South China Sea.

“Canada opposes unilateral actions that have escalated tensions in the region and undermined stability in the South China Sea. We are against the threat or use of force, large-scale land reclamation, building outposts on disputed entities and using them for military purposes in the sea,” he said.

The Canadian Minister of National Defense was speaking at the 12th South China Sea International Conference held November 16-17 in Hanoi. Vietnam calls the waterway the East Sea.

Claimed to last for at least 50-70 years, stones used to pave major streets in Hanoi are falling apart only a few years after they were installed.

Three years ago, Hanoi’s authorities introduced a new set of regulations on road renovation, which slated a complete transition of paving material from bricks to natural stone on 900 streets of the capital city for the end of 2020.

In the process, natural stone was praised as a sturdy paving material which can last for at least 70 years.

A 16-year-old girl describes how her boss raped her amid the tall trees on an Indonesian palm oil plantation that feeds into some of the world’s best-known cosmetic brands. He then put an axe to her throat and warned her: “Do not tell.”

At another plantation, a woman named Ola complains of fevers, coughing and nose bleeds after years of spraying dangerous pesticides with no protective gear.

Đường phố Istanbul Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ là nơi trú ẩn cho muôn vàn tài năng và kỹ năng khác nhau. Một con đường của Đại lộ Độc lập (Independence Avenue), Istiklal Caddesi, chính xác là nơi như vậy. Trong nhiều năm, con đường này trở thành nhà của những người có gốc gác dân tộc khác nhau cùng nhau thổ lộ linh hồn âm nhạc của họ cho khoảng 2 triệu người người đi ngang qua. Trên con đường này, vào năm 2010, Ánh sáng ở Babylon rọi xuyên qua, mang 3 con người của những nền dân tộc khác nhau đến truyền một ngôn ngữ vào tai chúng ta: âm nhạc.

Ca sĩ người Do Thái gốc Iran Michal Elia Kamal, tay ghita người Pháp Julien Demarque và tay santur của Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ Metehan Ciftci có chút rắc rối khi giao tiếp bằng lời nhưng ngôn ngữ âm nhạc đã mang họ lại với nhau để tạo thành Ánh sáng ở Babylon – Light of Babylon. NEW DELHI: The navies of India, the United States, Australia and Japan held exercises Tuesday (Nov 17) in the Northern Arabian Sea in the second phase of a naval drill seen as part of a regional initiative to counter China’s growing assertiveness in the Indo-Pacific.

The Malabar naval exercise “highlights enhanced convergence of views amongst the four vibrant democracies on maritime issues,” India’s Defense Ministry said.

This is the second time that the four countries — an informal grouping known as the Quad — have participated in a combined military exercise of this size. The first phase of the Malabar drill took place Nov 3-6 in the Bay of Bengal.

Vietnam faces gender inequality as consequence of gender-biased sex selection

Vietnam is on the verge of gender inequality as a result of gender-biased sex selection since many families in the country still favor boys over girls, resulting in more than 40,000 baby girls unborn every year.

Sex selection of fetuses on the basis of gender inequality has existed in Asia for decades, according to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The manifestation of gender-biased sex selection can be directly measured through the sex ratio at birth.

Vietnam has moved up 12 places to 73rd out of 167 economies in a global prosperity ranking, ahead of several Asian peers.

With an overall score of 58.3 points, Vietnam ranked 13th out of 29 economies in the Asia-Pacific region, according to the Prosperity Index 2020 published Monday by London-based think tank Legatum Institute.

The index ranked countries and territories based on various socio-economic categories including safety and security, governance, investment environment, economic quality, living conditions, health, education and natural environment.

Khi các bạn nghe bài hát dưới đây, các bạn nghĩ tới người thầy nào của mình?

Với mình thì nhiều lắm..

Nắng gió, cây cối, chim chóc, sách vở, em bé, bạn bè.., đều có thể là người thầy của mình. Mỗi cảnh, mỗi người đều có cái đẹp, cái hay riêng để dạy mình.

“Các thầy” ấy rất kiên trì, ngày nào cũng dạy, mà lần nào cũng nhiệt tình như lần dạy đầu tiên. Và bài học đầu tiên đó, dù mình có biết trước đó thì mình vẫn cứ thích nghe lại, vì mỗi lần nghe lại là một lần mới, thấy hay hơn một chút, thấy đẹp hơn một chút.

Thầy ơi, em muốn cám ơn thầy,… cám ơn thầy, thầy đã dạy – con đường tới tương lai xây đất nước đẹp giàu..
