The prayer series

Jesus,

Before knowing you,
I thought my sadness that was a real thing.
So when the sadness came,
I was often sad for many days,
many months
and many years.

After knowing you,
although I still feel my sadness,
I see that sadness is unreal.

The sadness is not a real thing
because after sharing with you my sadness,
the sadness disappeared
into you.

Yes, disappearing into you.

Sadness is a way that you and I connect.

I love you, Jesus.
