Căng thì ai cũng biết rồi. Ai cũng căng. Mọi người đều căng, từ em bé đến cụ già trăm tuổi. Vấn đề không phải là căng; vấn đề là làm thế nào để hết căng, không căng.

Tình yêu là một đề tài khó vì tình yêu có nhiều xúc cảm lên xuống, đầy đủ thất tình – hỉ nộ ái ố ai lạc dục – hợp, tan, hy sinh, tính toán, tiếng cười, nước mắt.

Vô chấp là một trong những từ ta nghe những người Phật tử nói nhiều nhất, nhưng cũng có lẽ là từ bị hiểu sai nhiều nhất trên phương diện thực hành.
Vô chấp là … vô chấp, không chấp vào đâu cả, không bám cứng vào điều gì cả, không dính mắc vào thứ gì cả.
Người ta thường hiểu rằng:
– Vô chấp là chối bỏ tài sản, tiền bạc, của cải… vào chùa đi tu. Đó có thể là chấp vào chùa và chấp vào tu.
– Vô chấp là tập trung vào Phật pháp và lời Phật dạy, và loại bỏ mọi lời dạy của ai khác. Đó có thể là chấp vào Phật pháp và lời Phật dạy.
– Vô chấp là chỉ làm điều thiện không làm điều ác. Đó có thể là chấp vào khái niệm thiện ác của mình.
– Vô chấp là không bao giờ bám vào bất cứ điều gì trên đời. Đó cũng rất có thể là bám vào vô chấp. Ta cũng cần phải có “vô vô chấp.” Continue reading Vô chấp – Non-Attachment

Tôi làm việc này thì mọi người xung quanh sẽ nghĩ thế nào? Tôi làm điều này thì cô ấy có biết ơn không, hay là lên mặt đỏng đảnh. Sunday, Jesus has resurrected. This day is celebrated as Easter today.
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
“We” seems to mean Mary went with someone, possibly Martha, Mary’s sister, or/and someone else.
Mary Magdalene’s role as the first believer to discover the empty tomb is deeply significant, both theologically and symbolically. Here’s why:

Friday. Today, it is celebrated as Good Friday.
19 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe 3 and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.
This scene is deeply symbolic and profoundly tragic. The crown of thorns and the purple robe are mocking imitations of royal regalia. In their cruel jest, the Roman soldiers unwittingly highlight the truth of Jesus’ kingship. While they ridicule Him as the “King of the Jews,” the Gospels affirm that He is indeed the Messiah and King, but not in the earthly, political sense they assume.

Chapters 13 to 17 contain Jesus’ teachings during the Last Supper,
which took place on Thursday, now celebrated as Holy Thursday.
Still Thursday night, after leaving the Last Supper. In the Garden of Gethsemane. And Friday cames near the end of this chapter. This Friday today is celebrated as Good Friday, the day Jesus died.
18 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it.
The name of the garden is Gethsemane.
2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. 3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.

High Priest Prayer
This chapter contains Jesus’ prayer often called High Priest Prayer, because Jesus acts as a mediator, interceding on behalf of His disciples and all believers, much like a high priest would in the Old Testament.
The High Priest Prayer can be divided into three parts:
Jesus Prays for Himself (John 17:1–5):
Jesus begins by asking God to glorify Him so that He may glorify the Father. He acknowledges the completion of His earthly mission to reveal God to humanity and asks to return to the glory He shared with the Father before the world began.

Chapters 13 to 17 contain Jesus’ teachings during the Last Supper,
which took place on Thursday, now celebrated as Holy Thursday.
At the end of John 14, Jesus says, “Come now, let us leave,” which suggests a transition or departure from the room where the Last Supper took place. However, Chapters 15 through 17 continue with Jesus delivering extended teachings (such as the Vine and the Branches metaphor in John 15) and His High Priestly Prayer in John 17. These chapters seem to flow seamlessly, without an explicit mention of a change in location.

13 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.
Different interpretations of about “the devil had already prompted Judas.” Does that means Judas was not responsible for his act?

12 Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. 3 Then Mary took about a pint[a] of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
This is an image of love taken to the extreme. Perhaps Mary knew that Jesus was about to die, so she did something to express how much she loved Jesus and how much she was in pain.
