(PLO) – Kết luận phần chất vấn Bộ trưởng Nông nghiệp và Phát triển nông thôn Cao Đức Phát, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Nguyễn Sinh Hùng đề nghị Bộ này không chỉ cần có quyết tâm mà phải có biện pháp quyết liệt để thực hiện thành công tái cơ cấu ngành nông nghiệp. Trong khi đó, trả lời PLVN, lãnh đạo Tổng cục Thủy lợi thuộc Bộ này vẫn khẳng định: “Doanh nghiệp quản lý khai thác công trình thuỷ lợi khó có thể hoạt động theo cơ chế thị trường”?!

Ascendant middle class gravitates toward high-performance models
HANOI/OSAKA — Air conditioner manufacturers around the world are locking horns in Vietnam, whose market has become the second largest in Southeast Asia as rapid economic growth supports a burgeoning middle class.
Vietnam’s market for the cooling systems ranked as Asia’s eighth largest in 2011, excluding Japan and China, with about 660,000 units sold. But the country surpassed Thailand in 2015, and sales of 1.98 million units in 2016 lifted the nation into third behind India and Indonesia.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s economic growth is projected to moderate to 6.6 per cent in 2019, driven by credit tightening, slower private consumption and weaker external demand, according to the World Bank (WB).
Under the Managing Headwinds report on East Asia and Pacific update released on Wednesday, WB said Việt Nam’s economy continues to show fundamental strength, supported by robust domestic demand and export-oriented manufacturing.

Chinese investment has generated jobs and brought capital, but it may also bring about environmental risks and cause problems in foreign worker management, experts say.
The Q1 report about Vietnam’s macroeconomy released by VEPR (the Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research) shows that implemented FDI capital increased by 7.52 percent compared with the same period last year, while registered FDI capital was $3.82 billion. Additional investment capital increased by $1.3 billion.

As far as Viet Nam’s economy is concerned, sisters really are doing it for themselves.More and more women are running businesses across the country.
There are around 145,000 small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) currently run by women in Viet Nam.
Such SMEs businesses play a crucial role for growth, contributing 30 per cent of GDP and more than half of job creation.
And a quarter of all SMEs nationally are run by women.
