Ron Ward là chuyên gia Xử lý Thương vong thuộc phân đội 2 (DET 2), Bộ chỉ huy Hỗn hợp Tìm kiếm Tù binh và Người mất tích trong chiến tranh của Mỹ (JPAC). Ông là một trong những người đóng vai trò kiến tạo chương trình Tìm kiếm Tù binh và Người Mỹ mất tích trong chiến tranh (POW/MIA) ở Việt Nam, cầu nối dẫn tới việc bình thường hóa quan hệ giữa hai nước cách đây 20 năm.

Welcoming foreign investments, economists have once again warned about the negative impact that Chinese investments have had on Vietnam’s economy.

The concern about Chinese investments were raised after the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) released a report showing that China is standing firmly in the No 1 position on the list of leading foreign direct investors in Vietnam.

The toxic legacy of the Vietnam War

The US has launched a multi-million dollar clean-up operation at an air base in Vietnam it used to store the notorious chemical Agent Orange.

The ten-year programme, unveiled more than four decades after the end of the Vietnam War, will cost $183m (£141m).

The site at Bien Hoa airport, outside Ho Chi Minh City, is considered the most contaminated in the country.

La justice malaisienne a condamné lundi 1^er avril la Vietnamienne Doàn Thi Huong à trois ans et quatre mois de prison pour “blessure volontaire avec des moyens dangereux” au lieu de “meurtre”.

Dans l’affaire de meurtre survenu en 2017 à Kuala Lumpur du ressortissant nord-coréen Kim Chol, la Vietnamienne Doàn Thi Huong était accusée de “blessure volontaire avec des moyens dangereux”. Elle a dit croire participer à une émission de télé-réalité et clamé son innocence.
