Khôn ngoan ấy vượt lên trên mọi nhị nguyên –
đúng sai,
tốt xấu,

Thỉnh thoảng, anh em nhà nhỏ Nina và vài đứa bạn học tụ lại để chơi một trò chơi đặc biệt lý thú. Xác ma, nội tên gọi nghe đã dị thường, theo kiểu chỉ nên chơi trò này ở vắng vẻ vào những đêm tối trời, nhất là đêm 30 âm lịch.
Tối bữa nay, nhằm lúc bố mẹ đi ăn đám cưới, cả bọn tụ lại ở một căn phòng nhỏ, đóng kín cửa tối mò vì có mỗi một ngọn đèn dầu leo lét, chập chờn. Lần này, cũng một tên bạn học của Minh phối hợp với cậu ta cùng Đăng – cậu em kế – và nhỏ Nina – cô em út – cho đủ bốn người, tạm gọi là bốn pháp sư, như yêu cầu của trò chơi.
