(VTC News) – Từ Google đến Qualcomm, Intel,… hàng loạt công ty Mỹ đóng băng nguồn cung cấp các phần mềm và linh kiện thiết yếu cho công ty Trung Quốc Huawei.

Các nhà sản xuất chip bao gồm Intel Corp, Qualcomm Inc., Xilinx Inc. và Broadcom Inc. chỉ thị nhân viên không cung cấp sản phẩm cho Huawei đến khi nhận được thông báo thêm, Bloomberg trích dẫn các nguồn tin cho biết.

Trước đó, Google cắt nguồn cung cấp dịch vụ phần cứng và phần mềm cho gã khổng lồ công nghệ Trung Quốc, một nguồn tin giấu tên khác cho biết.

  • Soy, cattle, timber and other commodity producers fined for Amazon illegal deforestation in Brazil continue to sell their products to companies in China, the European Union and United States according to a new report. The document names 23 importing companies, including giants Bunge, Cargill and Northwest Hardwoods.
  • Large international investment firms, such as BlackRock, also continue to pump money into Brazilian firms, despite their being fined for illegal Amazon forest loss by the Brazilian government, according to the report. Many Brazilian producers deny the accuracy of the Amazon Watch document.

SINGAPORE — A push to end Southeast Asia’s addiction to fossil fuels is gathering pace after the region’s two biggest banks said they would stop funding coal-fired power plants.

Singapore’s DBS Group Holdings said last month that it would cease financing new coal power projects from 2021 following the completion of existing projects in Indonesia and Vietnam, and will instead tilt toward renewable energy projects such as solar power. Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. announced that it would also quit coal.

(TBKTSG) – Trong lúc cả xã hội còn đang say “giấc mơ” trở thành cường quốc hàng đầu trong xuất khẩu gạo, thì những nông dân trồng lúa là những người “tỉnh mơ” đầu tiên. Họ thấy rằng năng suất lúa đạt càng cao thì lợi nhuận càng giảm, do chi phí phân bón, thuốc sâu tăng cao.

Ưu ái quá lâu

Bây giờ nông dân trồng lúa ở đồng bằng sông Cửu Long (ĐBSCL) luôn phải sống trong tâm trạng thấp thỏm lo âu. Năm nào có nhiều nước ngọt đổ về thì nông dân các tỉnh đầu nguồn như An Giang, Đồng Tháp, Long An, Tiền Giang phải thức trắng đêm tuần tra vì sợ bể đê bao.

HÀ NỘI — In the midst of public anger over violations at a protection forest in the rural Sóc Sơn District of Hà Nội, some 200 households in Minh Tân Village are at risk of being unfairly punished as authorities scramble to fix the wrongdoings.

Locals argued that the recent conclusion formed by authorities, based on a 2008 map, completely disregarded over 30 years of settlement and efforts to reforest the barren hills, and grouped them in the same category as those who have encroached on the area in a controversial case that involves officials and celebrities who built villas on supposedly protection forestland.
