Chào anh chị em,

Đó là lời Khổng Tử dạy: “Ba người cùng đi, tất nhiên có thầy tôi trong đó.” Nghĩa là, trung bình trong bất kỳ ba người nào, sẽ có một người đáng là thầy tôi. Đó là nói về tính khiêm cung và hiếu học của Khổng Tử, một vị thầy rất lớn của thế giới.

Thật ra chúng ta có thể học mọi thứ từ thiên nhiên, nghĩa là thế giới thiên nhiên quanh ta. Đó là Giáo pháp thiên nhiên.

Và thiên nhiên chẳng chỉ cây cỏ mà còn là mọi loài, mọi vật, mọi người, mọi thứ trong cảnh quan quanh ta – nhà cửa, đường phố, bảng hiệu, người qua kẻ lại, bồ câu bên hè phố, sóc trong công viên, em bé chập chững đi… Tất cả mọi điều và mỗi điều đều có thể cho ta một bài học, nếu ta tập trung quan sát một chút.

Khi người học trò đã sẵn sàng, người thầy liền xuất hiện.

Hãy để lòng mình rộng mở, và quan sát một chút, thì ta sẽ thấy hằng hà sa số thầy quanh mình với vô lượng vô biên bài học để học.

Học là thái độ yêu thương thế giới quanh ta và mở rộng trái tim để thế giới ùa vào.

Yêu thương là cánh cửa vào nhà Chúa, nhà Phật và, trong đó, trí tuệ sâu thẳm và bao la như đại dương.

Đó là học.

Tam nhân đồng hành tất hữu ngã sư – Three person walking together, of course there is my teacher among them

Hello brothers and sisters,

That is what Confucius taught: “Three person walking together, of course there is my teacher among them.” That means, on average, in any three people, there will be one person worthy of being my teacher. That is talking about the humility and love of learning of Confucius, a great teacher of the world.

Actually, we can learn everything from nature, that is, the natural world around us. That is The Nature’s Dharma.

And nature is not only plants but also all species, all things, all people, all things in the landscape around us – houses, streets, signs, people passing by, pigeons on the sidewalk, squirrels in the park, babies learning to walk… Everything and each thing can give us a lesson, if we pay a little attention.

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

Open your heart and observe a little, and you will see countless teachers around you with countless lessons to learn.

Learning is the attitude of loving the world around you and opening your heart to let the world flow in.

Love is the door to the house of God, the house of Buddha and, within it, wisdom as deep and vast as the ocean.

That is learning.
