Dear brothers and sisters,

This is an emotional film. You can watch the film’s introduction below. I’ll just share my feelings about the film and the score.

Right from the first minutes of the film, I saw images of vast rice fields and low mountains that looked quite familiar to me. I thought of the fields in Ngu Hanh Son mountains, across the Han River, in my hometown Da Nang, although until I visited this place when I was in high school, there weren’t many rice fields left. And it’s true that the film was set in Ngu Hanh Son because the main character was born and raised here. Coincidentally, the main actress was also from Da Nang. The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.

John 1 is the official way to write “John, Chapter 1.” John has 21 chapters. If we do one chapter for each article, we will have 21 long articles.

In the beginning: Here, John echoed the first sentence of the Bible (i.e. The first sentence of the Old Testament): “In the beginning God created the Heavens and earth.” (Genesis 1:1). So, John started the story of Jesus from “the beginning” – the time God created heavens and earth.

Chào anh chị em,

Có bài học này Chúa muốn dạy mình từ lâu mà mãi sau này mình mới hiểu thật sự. Là ơn phước của Chúa cho mình. Là muốn được học được cái gì từ vị thầy nào đó thì điều đầu tiên cần làm là phải thành thật.

Luôn nói thật là chắc chắn rồi. Ngoài ra, cần cho người thầy của mình thấy hết con người mình, gồm: tâm tư, suy nghĩ, cả điểm mạnh và điểm yếu. Tất nhiên những gì là thông tin bí mật liên quan tới người khác, của công ty, tổ chức… thì mình cần giữ kín, đó là đạo đức. Ý mình chỉ muốn nói là những gì thuộc về mình thì cần phải bộc lộ ra hết với thầy dạy của mình, để thầy hiểu được con người mình, tin mình và biết nên chỉ dạy mình như thế nào sao cho tốt nhất với mình. Mình thì không biết nên học cách nào và học gì là tốt nhất nhưng người thầy chân chính thì sẽ biết. Nên để giúp mình và cả giúp thầy trong việc dạy thì mình cần phải thành thật. The Tokyo government is set to introduce a four-day work week for its employees starting in April 2025, following a similar move made by Singapore in December. Governments and companies in Asia have generally been slower than their Western counterparts in taking steps to adopt a healthy work-life balance. For decades, Japan’s work culture has been synonymous with gruelling hours and self-sacrifice. Is Tokyo’s introduction of a four-day work week the start of a shift away from a culture of overwork in Japan and across the region, or is it just a pipe dream for Asia?
