I came across your website recently and I’m a big fan! I’ve been sharing with all my fellow Vietnamese-Americans. 🙂 I was born in America so my Vietnamese isn’t the greatest. It’s been wonderful learning more about my culture through your website, and I really appreciate your positive thinking articles.

I love the line on your website that says “If we each do our part, the world will have more sunshine,” so I’d love to contribute by sharing with you this music channel that seems to be in alignment with your website’s beautiful message. I found that the songs helped bring me great joy and, perhaps, you and your readers will enjoy as well. Thời trước và thời nay, ở VN, những người làm việc không công (hay không lương) vẫn là số ít. Số người cho tiền làm từ thiện thì nhiều, số người bỏ thời gian và công sức cho các hoạt động xã hội thì rất ít. Mà cho thời gian và hơn thế nữa, cho tâm huyết, thì tốt hơn nhiều so với chuyện cho tiền. Thế nên tài thí (cho tiền) là cách cho nhỏ nhất và ít quan trọng nhất trong đức hạnh bố thí. Using the IELTS for high school admission is unfair: education ministry

Inferring advantages for students with IELTS scores in the high school admission process may breed inequality, as not everyone has the means to study and take the test, the education ministry said.

Nguyen Xuan Thanh, head of the Department of Secondary Education under the Ministry of Education and Training, said there are four groups of students eligible for high school admission without taking the entrance exams in accordance with regulations from 2014: students at ethnic minority boarding schools; students of ethnic minorities; disabled students; and students with national prizes regarding culture, art, sports and science.

Certain other student groups get bonus points during the admission process, including children of war martyrs and invalids, as well as those living in areas with dire socioeconomic circumstances.
