Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How are you doing? How has your 2023 been so far?

2023 marks 120 years of Sapa tourism. Thanks to this special year, I have had the chance to see some black-and-white photographs of Sapa over 100 years ago in an art exhibition at the Sapa Museum.

Below are some photos of Sapa from the 1920s until now that I find interesting and would like to share with you.

The main road in the old days is now Cau May Street in Sapa.

Nowadays, after repairs, the Stein company has become the Sapa tourist information center.

After contemplating the above photos of Sapa, I’m really surprised by how much Sapa has changed over the last 100 years. From a wild and silent village in the 20th century, Sapa now has developed a lot and become a well-known place for many people.

May Sapa continue to grow sustainably in the future and truly be an ideal destination about nature, culture, and people for all travellers from around the world.

Wishing you guys a beautiful day.

Best wishes,

An An
