The prayer series

Jesus,

Our country is a big family.
Our family has 54 brothers and sisters.
So big.

I’m the Kinh.
The Kinh has áo dài.
I love áo dài.
I love dresses of our sisters, too.
Charming and colourful dresses.

I have two skirts of the Black Hmong.
When I wore the Hmong skirts,
many of the Hmong said to me,
“You look like a Hmong girl!”
“Are you a Hmong girl?”
I like it.

I want to wear all 53 dresses of our sisters.
I want to look like our sisters.
I want to understand our sisters more.
I want to understand all our family more.

I wish I can take care of our family more.
