Năm 2019 này, chủ đề được lựa chọn là Phòng Chống Tự Tử. Tổ chức Y tế Thế giới WHO đã phát động chiến dịch 40 Giây Hành Động (40 seconds of action) nhằm tuyên truyền và ngăn chặn nạn tự sát.

Ngày 10 tháng 9 hàng năm là ngày Thế giới Phòng chống tự tử (#World Suicide Prevention Day). Năm 2019, Tổ chức Y tế Thế giới đã tích cực thực hiện công tác tuyên truyền, giáo dục nhận thức về phòng chống tự tử. Cuộc vận động này sẽ kéo dài trong suốt 1 tháng tiếp theo với cao điểm là chiến dịch 40 Giây Hành Động vào ngày 10/10/2019.

        Tại sao chiến dịch trọng điểm của ngày Sức khỏe Tâm thần Thế giới 2019 lại có tên là “40 Giây Hành Động”?

Một thanh niên đang lưu thông bằng xe máy trên cầu bất ngờ dừng xe lại, cởi mũ bảo hiểm, lao nhanh qua lan can cầu rồi nhảy xuống sông tự tử. Sau gần 5 năm kể từ ngày Tiền Phong đăng bài đầu tiên phản ánh dấu hiệu tham nhũng trong việc đấu thầu thuốc chữa bệnh 2014-2015 do Sở Y tế Đắk Lắk tổ chức, 10 người liên quan vừa bị khởi tố. Từ số này, báo Tiền Phong khởi đăng loạt ghi chép do nhà báo Hoàng Thiên Nga kể lại hành trình 5 năm đấu tranh tìm sự thật.

(CNN)US intelligence and national security officials say the United States government is looking into the possibility that the novel coronavirus spread from a Chinese laboratory rather than a market, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter who caution it is premature to draw any conclusions. The theory is one of multiple being pursued by investigators as they attempt to determine the origin of the coronavirus that has resulted in a pandemic and killed hundreds of thousands. The US does not believe the virus was associated with bioweapons research and the sources indicated there is currently no indication the virus was man-made. Officials noted that the intelligence community is also exploring a range of other theories regarding the origination of the virus, as would typically be the case for high-profile incidents, according to an intelligence source.The theory has been pushed by supporters of the President, including some congressional Republicans, who are eager to deflect criticisms of Trump’s handling of the pandemic.
