Những ngày qua, hàng loạt cây xanh trên đường Tôn Đức Thắng (quận 1, TP. HCM) đang được đốn hạ, di dời để phục vụ cho việc xây cây cầu Thủ Thiêm 2. Công trình này sẽ bắc qua sông Sài Gòn, nối quận 1 và quận 2.
Theo Sở GT-VT TP. HCM, có 258 cây xanh sẽ bị chặt hạ và di dời vì ảnh hưởng đến giải phóng mặt bằng trong việc thi công cầu. Trong tổng số cây trên đường Tôn Đức Thắng, có 115 cây di dời và 143 cây bị đốn hạ.

The park is aimed at protecting the local ecology and diversity, comprising 90 genres of plants and 58 rare animals as well as cultural values, landscapes and ecological environment.
The park, which used to be a nature preservation area, has been established to protect the natural forest area and increase the green cover from 84 per cent in 2016 to 95 per cent by 2030, creating a more conducive environment for flora and fauna.

After being subdivided and selected, microorganisms are cultured in catfish fat and converted into environmentally friendly bioplastics.
The research won first prize in the field of food technology at Euréka 2017, a contest for technology students organized by the HCM City Youth Union.

(TBKTSG) – Để có công suất điện than hơn 13.000 MW như hiện nay, ngoài việc phải huy động một lượng vốn lên đến gần 40 tỉ đô la Mỹ để xây dựng các nhà máy thì ô nhiễm môi trường cũng là vấn đề được các nhà chuyên môn cảnh báo. Trong khi đó, theo Quy hoạch điện VII điều chỉnh, tổng công suất điện than đến năm 2030 tới 55.000 MW.

Những ai bơm tiền cho điện than Việt Nam?
Theo báo cáo “Phát triển nhiệt điện than ở Việt Nam: Góc nhìn tài chính” của Trung tâm Phát triển sáng tạo xanh (GreenID), để có được công suất hơn 13.000 MW điện than như hiện nay, Việt Nam đã huy động 39,789 tỉ đô la Mỹ vốn đầu tư.

#1: Tiết kiệm nước bằng cách ngắt vòi nước trong khi đánh răng, rửa mặt, rửa bát.
#2: Tiết kiệm điện bằng cách chỉ bật điện khi nào thấy thiếu ánh sáng cho nhu cầu sử dụng của mình. Có bật thì cũng chỉ bật đủ cho nhu cầu của mình lúc đó. Tiết kiệm điện bằng cách nữa là tắt đi khi không dùng đến, chẳng hạn như tắt đèn hành lang hay cầu thang khi không dùng đến.
#3: Đi xe đạp, đi bộ, sử dụng phương tiện công cộng hay đi chung xe bất cứ khi nào có thể. Ở các nước châu Âu mọi người sử dụng những phương tiện này rất nhiều và “kinh tế chia sẻ” (shared economy) cũng đang ngày càng phát triển.
Với nhiều người, rác là nguồn thu nhập, là sinh kế không chỉ giúp họ mưu sin; mà còn nuôi sống cả gia đình, là tiền học phí của con, là viện phí của cha mẹ… Thậm chí, những người dân mưu sinh tại bãi rác Nam Sơn (Sóc Sơn, Hà Nội) còn tự nhận cuộc đời của họ là “sống trong rác, chết vùi trong rác”.
