World Condemns US Blockade on Cuba

United Nations, Nov 1 (Prensa Latina) By 191 votes of 193 possible, the General Assembly of the United Nations overwhelmingly condemned today the US economic, financial and commercial blockade on Cuba and demanded its end.

Only the US and Israel voted against the Cuban resolution on the Need to Put an End to the Economic, Financial and Commercial Blockade of the United States on Cuba. It’s the 26th times, since 1992, that the international community slams that hostile policy.

John McCain, who spent more than five years in a prisoner of war camp after his plane was shot down, this week put an unwelcome spotlight on Trump’s five draft deferments to avoid military service. And Trump’s prolonged political tussle over the proper way for presidents to honor and grieve with the families of fallen soldiers has focused attention on his lack of military service as well.
